Holdem Poker

Each deal has 4 betting rounds. First each player is dealt two cards face down. On the next round three community cards, that all players can see and use, are placed to the table. On each of the following two betting rounds a new community card is added to the table. Each player can use his/her pocket cards together with the community cards to form the best possible poker hand.

This game, in my opinion, is the best game for beginners to learn the art of poker. Each player is dealt two cards face down and one card face up. The player with the low card opens the betting. Each player in turn either calls, raises, or folds. On all the remaining rounds, the player with the BEST hand opens the betting. The next three cards are face up with the last card dealt face down. The pot in stud poker can get pretty high since you are betting on each deal. If after the first round, you do not have any good cards, I would recommend you fold. Unless of course you feel lucky!
